This was the first starting of a fresh built engine, ignition timing and carburetor yet to be set up correctly
Leak-down test
All engines that I build will go thought a leak-down test to check all the valves and the heads are seated correctly
Compression check
As with all engines its good to check the compression is correct on all four cylinders, also that the compression ratio is correct for the engine in the first place as too high of compression can lead to very bad damage to the heads and studs pulled out of casings.
